PROGRESS UPDATE

Hi! It's been a minute.

First off I want to say thank you to everyone who played the demo, left comments/feedback, and even posted videos. At the beginning of January I didn't even know if anyone would be interested in this outside of the Discorder game jam.

I haven't abandoned Shovel Project, but I haven't been able to work on it much since early February until recently because of an incident in my personal life (it's all good now though). The original plan was that the demo wouldn't be updated, outside of basic things like proper menus that I just didn't have time for during the game jam, and that I would go ahead to the release version with the main levels and characters. However, now that it's been so long without anything, I would like to add at least some new content to the next update. So most likely it'll be one or two updates to the demo in the coming weeks. As for the release version of the game, this will take a bit longer but the scope isn't enormous so it won't be ages.
